According to the reports of various government and non-governmental institutions, the crimes against women are increasing day by day instead of decreasing, so to reduce the rate of crimes against women, by the Government of India and the justice system of India And strict instructions and laws are also being made by the state. While there is no decrease in crimes against women. This is the reason why under the research paper "Crime against women in the 21st century", the study of the causes of crime against women in the 21st century and the efforts made by the Government of India for the prevention of crime against women Although it was done, an attempt was made to find out the hidden reasons behind the reduction in crime with the woman, however, an analysis has been made based on the data obtained from the study.
Role Of Media In A Culturally Diverse And Intermixed Society : A Special Study Of Poonch District
ABSTRACT:The present study is an attempt to understand and highlight the role of media in a culturally diverse society of a border district Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir a state of India. The study is an analysis of the role of media with the main aim to highlight the actual scenario and problems of the society which is a culturally and relatively intermixed district bordering with Pakistan lasting around five decades viz. for the period 1947 to present.
Although the scope of this study is not very vast it is a limited one specifically covering a particular area of the of Jammu and Kashmir, but it will be very much helpful for understanding and highlighting the similar problems faced by number of other similar areas of the of the same Union Territory particularly and India generally which are facing many problems due to borders with neighboring countries and also having cultural affinities. The purpose of this study is to spread awareness among the backward and ignorant masses as well as to the authorities so that all the opportunities in this era of information and communication technology are fully utilized to make relation with their near and dear on the both sides of the border. For this media can play a very significant role as it is playing in other areas. But unfortunately even after 70 years of India’s independence the backward areas in every sphere are not at par with the other areas. Media is one of the most important tools which can prove for the good governance through e- governance. This study has been undertaken with the help of secondary as well as primary data through quantitative as well as qualitative approaches. Furthermore at the preliminary stage the focus has been paid more on secondary sources of information by reviewing the existing available literature on the subject matter. Primary data has been taken through the living experiences in such areas since childhood and by interviewing scholars, teachers, and students from such areas. It also important to mention here that there is very little information available in existing literature with specificity of the role of media with respect to a bordering, backward and culturally intermixed area of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Thus it is believed that this study can yield good results and will add something new to the existing literature.Read less

Biological Control of Seed Mycoflora of Groundnut Using Extract Of OcimumSanctum L
ABSTRACT:In present investigation study of fungi associated seeds of groundnut variety local revealed presence of 20 fungi on the seed surface. Seed borne fungi like Aspergillus flavus, Alternaria Curvularialunata, and Fusarium moniliforme were found. These fungi were found to be responsible for the loss in dry weight (dwt), loss in total protein content (TPC), total fat content (TFC) and total starch content (TSC) of the seeds of groundnut variety.
The culture filtrates (CF) of the predominant seed borne fungi where found to be more inhibitory for seed germination (CG) and Seedling emergence (SE) Of the test cultivar, therefore the root , stem and leaf extracts of ocimum sanctum L. were used for the biocontrol of the seed mycoflora of groundnut. The test extract were found to be more inhibitory for the incidence of seed mycoflora (ISM), for germination and seed growth of seed borne fungi. Comparative Analysis of Machine Learning Algorithms to Predict Type II Diabetes
ABSTRACT:Machine Learning (ML) models are becoming robust and more accurate nowadays as the rapid increase in the amount and quality of training data. Researchers are proposing complex models for real-life problems to achieve higher accuracy, which requires high computing and other resources. In the context of the healthcare disease diagnosis, detection and prediction is still a challenge.Early diagnosis of a disease or ailment helps in timely recovery. Moreover, health been core to every individual, a lot of work is being done in this field to improve upon by using all available information.
Current paper experiments on Pima Indian Diabetes Dataset (PIDDS) in two stages A and B. The main objective of this study is to review the accuracy of the applied machine learning algorithms and analyze their efficiency in predictions. Another essential objective is to show the efficacy of simpler models. Fields like computer vision and NLP have given rise to deep learning with complex and high computational models setting the trend to apply them in almost all the fields While they help where we have an abundance of data and complex relationships, simpler models still can do wonders and on their day can challenge these behemoths. We have also applied preprocessing methods (imputation, feature selection, scaling and discretization) to improve the classification accuracy. The algorithms selected for this problem are Logistic regression (LR), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Support Vector Machine(SVM), Naïve Bayes (NB), and Decision Tree(DT). LR provided the best accuracy, and the rest of the models are very close to each other.
